Transforming And Enriching Lives Through Music

Laurie Moss

Laurie

Laurie began playing violin at the age of 5 with Calderdale Music Trust (formerly Calderdale Music Service). She played in a variety of Calderdale Music Trust ensembles throughout secondary school and developed an interest in playing a range of instruments and genres. Laurie went on to study at Leeds College of Music where she earned a degree in Classical Music, and discovered a love of teaching through volunteering in Calderdale Music Trust ensembles.

Laurie has grade 8 violin and alto saxophone, and enjoys continuing to take exams on as many instruments as she can! Laurie began teaching for Calderdale Music Trust in 2018, and currently teaches violin, saxophone, clarinet, flute, cello, and piano.
